How We Vet:
Our verification process is among the most rigorous in the industry and adheres to best practices from leading journalism institutions. Approval is based solely on merit. Verification cannot be bought, sold, or transferred. In 2025, Rolli partnered with CLEAR to implement deeper identity verification measures, safeguarding against AI-generated personas and impersonators posing as “fake experts.”

Identity & Contact VerificationConfirm that the applicant’s email and geographic location align with their account name. Review digital presence and backlinks across public sources.

Cross-Reference Name & TitleEnsure consistency across trusted platforms, including:
- Accredited university or organization websites (.edu, .org, etc.)
- LinkedIn and X profiles
- Resume or CV (if available)

Institutional ConsistencyVerify that details listed on organizational websites match those on LinkedIn and/or Twitter.

Professional Licensure (if applicable)For fields like medicine, law, or real estate, confirm active licensure and good standing with the relevant state board.
