Connector terms
These MCP Terms are additional to — not a replacement for — the main Rolli Terms of Service. Read both before connecting an AI assistant.
You need an active Rolli IQ account — MCP quota is your plan's quota.
Don't use the connector to bypass rate limits, resell data, or scrape in bulk.
Social media content returned by tools is labeled untrusted — review before acting on it.
Third-party AI clients (Claude, ChatGPT) are governed by their own terms.
Governed by California law, venue in Los Angeles County.
Agreement to These Terms
These MCP Connector Terms of Service ("MCP Terms") govern your use of the Rolli MCP connector at https://mcp.rolli.ai, operated by Rolli LLC, a California limited liability company ("Rolli", "we", "us"). By connecting an MCP-compatible client (such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, or any other MCP-compatible AI assistant) to the connector, you agree to these MCP Terms.
These MCP Terms are additional to, not a replacement for, the main Rolli Terms of Service at https://rolli.ai/terms. In any conflict between the two, the main Rolli Terms control, except for provisions specific to the MCP connector integration.
If you are accepting these MCP Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to both the main Rolli Terms and these MCP Terms.
Description of the MCP Connector
The Rolli MCP connector exposes a subset of Rolli IQ's functionality — keyword searches, user searches, topic analysis, integration configuration, usage reporting — via the Model Context Protocol so that AI assistants can invoke those tools on your behalf under your explicit, revocable OAuth authorization.
The connector is a proxy. It does not store your data at rest, does not add functionality beyond what Rolli IQ already provides, and does not change the Rolli IQ API's underlying behavior. Quotas, rate limits, plan entitlements, and pricing of the underlying Rolli IQ API continue to apply to everything you do through the connector.
The connector implements standard OAuth 2.0 with PKCE S256, Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) per RFC 7591, and the Model Context Protocol's Streamable HTTP transport.
Eligibility
To use the Rolli MCP connector you must: (a) have an active Rolli IQ account in good standing; (b) be at least 16 years of age; (c) be legally capable of entering into these MCP Terms; and (d) not be prohibited from using Rolli IQ or AI assistant services under applicable law.
Your authentication to the MCP connector uses the same credentials as your main Rolli IQ account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of those credentials and for all activity initiated on your behalf, including activity initiated by AI clients you have authorized.
Permitted Use
You may use the MCP connector to: (a) query your own Rolli IQ data through an AI assistant of your choice; (b) perform the same searches and operations you are authorized to perform in the main Rolli IQ web app; and (c) build personal or organizational workflows on top of an MCP-compatible AI client.
Your usage of Rolli IQ data via the MCP connector is subject to the entitlements of your underlying Rolli IQ subscription plan. The connector does not grant any additional access, features, or quota beyond what your Rolli IQ plan already provides.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the MCP connector to: (a) bypass Rolli IQ API rate limits, quota restrictions, or access controls; (b) share your OAuth grant with other individuals (each user must authorize independently); (c) scrape, mirror, or resell Rolli IQ data in bulk beyond your own plan entitlements.
You may not attempt to: (a) extract other users' data, tokens, or credentials from the connector or from Workers KV; (b) submit tool arguments containing injection payloads or attacks against other users' data; (c) reverse-engineer or compromise the security of the connector or its upstream dependencies.
You may not use the MCP connector in connection with any unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harmful, or misleading activity, including any activity that violates the terms of service of Twitter/X, Reddit, Bluesky, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or any other third-party platform whose content is returned through Rolli IQ.
All prohibitions in the main Rolli Terms of Service (including prohibitions on surveillance, disinformation, and commercial misuse) continue to apply to your use of the MCP connector.
Prompt Injection Warning
Tools that return user-generated social media content — specifically get_keyword_search_posts and get_user_search_posts — prepend each response with a notice instructing the AI client to treat the content as untrusted data rather than executable instructions. This is a best-effort defense against prompt injection attacks embedded in social media content.
No such defense is perfect. Large language models can still be manipulated by carefully crafted content in unexpected ways. You are responsible for: (a) reviewing AI-generated actions that are informed by social media content before acting on them; (b) not granting your AI assistant destructive capabilities (file deletion, payment processing, etc.) based solely on content returned by Rolli IQ tools; and (c) understanding that the MCP connector cannot prevent all possible prompt injection outcomes.
This warning applies regardless of which AI client you use to connect to the MCP connector.
Third-Party AI Clients
The AI clients you connect to the MCP connector — Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, or any other MCP-compatible client — are operated by third parties and are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. Rolli is not responsible for: (a) the security, availability, uptime, or behavior of those third-party clients; (b) how they store, process, or share data returned by the MCP connector; (c) any actions taken by the AI client based on tool responses; or (d) any harm arising from your use of those clients.
Review each AI client's terms of service and privacy policy before authorizing it via the MCP connector. Your acceptance of those third-party terms is a matter between you and the third-party provider.
Service Availability
The MCP connector is provided on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantees of uptime, latency, or data availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the connector (in whole or in part) at any time without notice, particularly if: the underlying Rolli IQ API changes in incompatible ways; the Model Context Protocol specification changes in ways that require redesign; a security vulnerability is discovered; or usage patterns threaten the stability of the service, its upstream dependencies, or other Rolli customers.
Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that apply to your main Rolli IQ subscription do not automatically extend to the MCP connector. If you require a formal SLA for the MCP connector, contact [email protected].
No Warranty
THE MCP CONNECTOR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ROLLI LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE MCP CONNECTOR, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE MCP CONNECTOR WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ROLLI (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
The liability limits in the main Rolli Terms of Service also continue to apply.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rolli LLC from any claim, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the MCP connector in violation of these MCP Terms or the main Rolli Terms of Service; (b) your violation of any third party's rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or platform-terms rights); (c) content or instructions you submit to the MCP connector that cause harm to others; or (d) any action taken by an AI client you authorized that results in damages to Rolli or any third party.
Termination
You may terminate your use of the MCP connector at any time by revoking the OAuth grant from your AI client's connector settings or from Rolli IQ. Termination is immediate — the grant is invalidated and the connector stops calling Rolli IQ on your behalf.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the MCP connector if you violate these MCP Terms, the main Rolli Terms of Service, or applicable law. Upon termination, your OAuth grant is invalidated. Your underlying Rolli IQ account and data remain intact and continue to be governed by the main Rolli Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these MCP Terms as the connector evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you at the email address associated with your Rolli IQ account. Continued use of the MCP connector after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These MCP Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of these MCP Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
